Schools, bands, sports teams, and corporate clients wanted branded online stores. Shopify-per-store was cost-prohibitive. So we built a multi-tenant store platform from scratch - each store gets its own URL, products, checkout, but runs on one Supabase + Stripe backend.

Challenge
A high-school swim team wanted a store for their custom merch. Setting up Shopify per-team was $29/mo × 50 teams - not a good model. Plus FPC needed the orders to flow directly into the production system, not via a Shopify webhook with custom code per store.
Approach
- Multi-tenant store schema in Supabase - one database, row-level security per store.
- Custom store admin: upload logo, set colors, upload product mockups, define sizing/colors.
- Per-store storefront pages with on-brand theming, mobile-first.
- Stripe Connect for payments + direct flow into Command Center production pipeline.
- Store inquiry form for new store applications - captured as leads, not auto-provisioned.
Results
- Zero per-store SaaS cost - every new team/school/org is a DB insert, not a subscription.
- Orders flow directly into Command Center - no CSV imports, no webhook hacks.
- Custom theming per store (logo, colors) matches how each team wants to present.
- Scaled to multiple live stores without hiring ops support.
