Challenge
A 30-person production business running on spreadsheets, a WordPress site, institutional memory, and six SaaS subscriptions that didn't talk to each other. Production was tracked on Post-it notes. Payroll took 8 hours every two weeks. Order status was answered by email, one at a time.
Approach
- Next.js + Supabase monolith - one auth system, one data model, one dashboard.
- Production pipeline: kanban board with 19 stages × 7 groups, drag-and-drop, label system, shop-floor TV dashboard.
- Custom CRM with lead scoring, email parsing, QB integration, quote automation.
- Time clock + payroll with CA overtime rules, split-pay for cash + ADP, Excel exports.
- Multi-supplier inventory sync (S&S Activewear, AS Colour, SanMar) with nightly price + stock reconciliation.
- Customer portal with magic-link auth, invoices, artwork library, 2-way messaging.
